We are gearing up to travel the UK this academic year, delivering our Weather and Climate knowledge days to geography trainee teachers.
We’re bringing our new 'Geog Trumps' game - a fun way to explore climate adaptation strategies which was developed in collaboration with Rob from Cool Geography.
Our new series of teachers videos focused on refreshing knowledge on weather and climate, created to support secondary geography teaching in particular, are out now.

At RMetS, we believe every student should leave school with a basic climate literacy. In March 2025, we worked with subject bodies to create a nationwide Curriculum for Climate Literacy, supporting future education. Learn more here:

Participate now in the 2025 Climate Literacy Survey. It only takes 5-10 mins, should be completed online, in school and best run with form/tutor groups.

The 2023/2024 DfE Climate Literacy Survey of school leavers shows that only 22% of responders thought there is over 80% scientific consensus about anthropogenic climate change, whereas studies show the consensus is over 97%.
