Started lots of veg and flower seeds in the glasshouse. Tidied the veg bed and got the first batch of carrots sown. Also move some rainbow chard to the veg bed. Lovely to be able to spend the afternoon outdoors.

Litter pick #1. Can’t get over how much rubbish was on the road outside the house. A wheelbarrow full of take-away, chocolate, crisp, sweet, & gel bar wrappers. Cans, glass and plastic bottles. A mobile phone too. Do better people, car windows are not for chucking rubbish out of. #BringItHome

I opened the car bonnet to add water to the windscreen bottle … and saw this. First I thought of was a snail, but it’s a chocolate. I’ve no explanation… perhaps a squirrel hiding its stash.
