The bit when the car spins round midair with the silly noise in MWTGG is amazing. I also really like when Scaramanga is showing off his cool laser to Bond like someone showing how he can control the lights in his house with an app

You always have such lovely glasses!
Very happy with that choice, Sweden. Your public have an ability to pick the right songs that we Brits would almost certainly never have (if the sort of people who used to win X-factor are anything to go by). #melfest
Virgin are the absolute worst for this. I used to have to take Virgin Trains and the "go on give us a smile!" signs beneath the mirrors in the loos were really grating when the train was running at a crawl two hours behind schedule
Brilliant - thank you!
Just out of interest, has anyone ever come to the final from the runner up bit and won? #melfest

Cream of celery soup should be as widely available as it used to be
This comes from
New Labour were bad
Current Labour are bad
Ergo current Labour are an extension of New Labour
MATT GOODWIN used TAXING CHILDLESSNESS!
It's not very effective...
i think Stockholm is a pretty cool guy. eh posts memes about torrents and doesn't afraid of anything.
Allister Heath: Starmer's capitulation to the nightmare creatures that claw at the fringes of our so-called reality has humiliated our great nation
Imagine how many names like this we'd have if we had PR! It would be amazing
There's a Dracula club in Cyprus which I can only assume is run by him so maybe he's got citizenship there
I'll assume you're right and more comfortably hope for him to lose, then
I don't think taxing childlessness etc would play well at a general election so I'd rather they went into one thinking "yep that's what people want"
I worry that in the long run that's better for the constituency but worse for the country
Obviously those numbers are scarily high, but the fact that many people clearly believe (looking at replies and qts) that hundreds of them were fiddling and none faced consequences is potentially worse.
The discourse will of course always be unbearable, but it'll be especially unbearable from a tactical voting discourse perspective if Reform win with Labour and Green more or less tied.
My friend and I could only hear "Thank you, Wonder Man" as "Thank you, Plumber Man"
Some of the dialogue from that game is the best worst ever -
"You can't escape!"
"You will be the ones escaping!"
And
"Where is the laser?"
"Ask the police!"
Is that Obelix and Co?
Gah this was mentioned in the podcast the other day because double strike was suggested for it but I can't bloody remember
And there isn't a single word that would enable me to mute it.
If every British person on bluesky just agreed it's impossible to find good food here could we not talk about it any more? It's so fucking boring. Comparing food is boring. Stop caring. It's boring. And the rebuttals are boring too.
There are, though, arguably cases where they've really wanted to use a particular piece of art and used it on something that isn't a great fit, or the great fit is something that slot is kind of a waste for (Shock in the Spider-Man set comes to mind for the latter of these).
I know not everyone is going to agree with me on this, but I think these and the Spider-Man ones look fantastic. It's a world of difference with the Avatar and many of the Final Fantasy ones. Basically, I think comic art looks nice on cards.
That's why in Saudi Arabia they call it Bebsi
It can do red
It can do blue
But for those colours

He's the perfect kind of character to appear in the odd annual just frequently enough that levels in tie-in computer games can be themed around Murderworld
