My goal for 2026 ontop of my design goals and releasing Eldritch Automata is to get back into actual plays. Splitting between edited actual play sessions and GM videosw here you see how I would prepare before.

My home table did their session 0 of Daggerheart using Demiplane and we must have talked for almost 6 hours straight doing character creation. They had so much fun and really had a great band of characters going.
I don't know how anyone can look at the Critical Role situation and not see how this knocks a lot of wind out of Daggerheart's sails. Just reflects a lack of confidence in your own product.
It's really disappointing to see this one singular game continue to dominate every aspect of this industry.
Critical Role not playing Daggerheart is absolutely hilarious. Imagine releasing a game designed to your sensibilities that you make all the money off of, and could break the dragon game stranglehold, and then you don't.
