The surprisingly delightful colour combo I didn’t know I needed until today! It’s always a joy seeing the colours being pulled for orders, and I’m amazed at the fabulous choices you all make, that I never saw coming!

The studio is back up and running, with a full rack of yarn drying from this mornings dye session! Thank you all so much for your patience, as I’m just returning from a really nice family holiday, which is exactly what I needed to recharge, reset and kick the summer off in just the right way!

Just a reminder, all new orders placed from today until June 24th will be on their way Thursday June 26th, as I take a short break from the studio to kick off the summer!

A busy day in the studio usually ends up with a new addition to the Oddball Section of the shop! A batch of Midnight Blue that didn’t go according to plan, but turned into something wonderful nonetheless!

I dyed up this yarn fade as a little experiment/test, and I’m crazy about it! Can’t wait to get some of this base onto my own needles asap!

Slightly more rustic and wooly than some of the Dreamy bases, but less fussy in the care department as it seems to be a bit stronger. You can expect great stitch definition, with a less drape-y fabric, while the yarn takes up the dye colours beautifully!

Each skein is 110 grams and 270 yards

A mix up with my distributor can often feel like a combination of ‘uh oh’ and ‘surprise!’ 🙃
