in most roguelikes I at least die because of my lack of skill

in roguelike deckbuilders you tend to die because the game decided you should die

I mean my main experience in slay the spire was "man, it sure feels like I'm being punished for no fucking reason" which is also my experience with most roguelike deckbuilders that aren't monster train

does slay the spire 2 have a better blocking system because an issue I always had with it was that block cards would often just not show up during big attacks or just fill your hand when they weren't useful
