When the media decided to spin news as entertainment, it became more obsessed with ratings than with journalism.

And reality TV has proven the surest way to gain ratings is to focus on a bunch of complete jackasses who melt down at everything.

It's not about good governance; it's about good TV.

The enemy is defined by what they do, not how they pray.

Take whatever assets that exist, transfer them from the business to her own personal fortune, and then leave other people hanging in the collapse.

I would hope that the many people I see posting "If you don't vote you are to blame for everything bad that is happening" are as vocal and scornful in complaints to their elected officials as they are to their fellow citizens.

Harassing your peers will gain you little against the power structure.

I mean, who could have known, when they purged all the journalists from the Pentagon, that they would end up doing something they didn't want the public to know about? What a total and utter surprise.

Health and education are matters of national security and the greater good.

We have all heard the lectures regarding the prohibitive cost. However, our nation creating wars is far more expensive and creates little or no good for the average citizen.

Capitalism does not dictate that amassing personal wealth is the only worthwhile goal and must be prioritized over the cost of the well-being of the citizenry.

That is extremism and a fairy tale, and it is being perpetuated by those who own large media because it benefits themselves.

Our nation is paying a high price to appease individuals who will never be satisfied.

We are sacrificing the economic stability created by a thriving middle class and the future well-being of our own children to cater to the desires of sociopaths who obsessed with increasing their fortunes.

It kind of seems like you would have to have an actual war, which needs to be declared by Congress, before you can institute a draft.

You can't have it both ways.

Coming from an individual who claims his actions are directed solely by a Holy Scripture and wants to impose its edicts on everyone (save his wealthy donors.)

Perhaps the ability to detect irony needs to be a "litmus test" for election to public office.

They are really leaning into that dependency on "everyone outside of the administration is a complete flipping idiot" philosophy.

So, as it is not mentioned as part of the mission, I am guessing "brutalizing individuals who do not agree with the administration" is considered a "perk"

I don't think just continuously telling Americans "You are fine, Biden, trans persons and all those illegal aliens are the reason you don't feel well" is going to work on this one.
