Does it count that we’ve gone cold-turkey on ordering on Amazon? That translated to more shopping local, so win-win.

Finally! Little things like this help cities get healthy and fun! So nice to walk to the corner store for milk, bread or ice cream. Not getting into a car for every little thing.
Yay! In a major #CanadaStrong move, say bye to those pesky interprovincial trade barriers! The deals started back in April, and the latest greatest today is Ontario-BC. That's like, half of Canada in 2 provinces. www.ontario.ca/page/economi...
Yes, a vote for PP is a vote for Trump and Canada as the 51st state. No way! #CanadaStrongAF
Canada is uniting against Trump (aka Biff from Back to the Future). I haven’t seen this much nationalism in my lifetime. The tariffs are a sledgehammer to the conservative movement (previously a shoe-in for the next election, now a ?). My country, known for politeness, going full FAFO.
Cruel, disgusting and wasteful.
Here's a pick-me up. Last year, I finally kept my resolution on pollution. Now that HOME REBATES ARE BACK, say goodbye to fossil fuels like natural gas, and hello to comfortable cost-effective climate action at home.
(seriously, up to $7,500 back for an air-source heat pump!). bit.ly/42xY0WM
Ya, in every functioning city, the only way to ease congestion is good alternatives to cars: Tons of transit and better bike lanes. This is a gamble on culture wars to win the suburban vote. Don’t fall for it. P.S. drivers won’t enjoy sharing the road w e-bike delivery folks w nowhere else to go.
Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.
I think it was a failure to communicate. They needed to hire a bunch of GenZs to do TikTok videos etc. Maybe someone can do something fun with my poem?
I wish I could move on, but without climate action now, it is literally an existential threat to humanity. The plus side? We Canadians love differentiating ourselves from Americans. As the USA backs out of the Paris Agreement, Canadians could double down on protecting it as a sign of resistance.
People may like "Axe the Tax" because it rhymes and they don't really get it. So I wrote some rhymes to explain it. Enjoy! #CarbonTax
Really enjoying the fact that this piece I wrote pushing back on the myths and misinformation about cycling in the city is getting traction here in Toronto but also across North America.
Appreciate having @activetowns.bsky.social amplify my work.

My glimmer of hope society will evolve so these could be the real covers.
Our American friends to the south are about to swear in their worst president (again!) on #BlueMonday, the most depressing day of the year. Take care of yourselves, friends, and take care of each other.
Court challenge launched against Ontario bike lane removal bill www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
Longtime fan of the hilarious #NotJustBikes. They’ve taken on the bananas #Bill212 (bans bike lanes +sets Ontario back to the 50’s). Spoiler alert, bike lane noise covers the real goal, ramming a highway through the greenbelt and letting developers do their worst).

Worth waking up early
Just left X for a friendlier place. Feels like we could all use a little brightening so enjoy the view from my sunrise dog walk.
