I wish I felt more celebratory, but im just so tired. I feel it in my bones. I've been running around and hustling to get my life in order since last may when everything finally fell apart. And now I'm just... I just want to take a nap. I want a nap and a hug and a tall glass of chocolate milk lol 🥲
Well, I signed the papers today. After 8 months of limbo & losing almost everything. A 6 year marriage to someone who severely lost themselves, and then fell out of love with the person I had grown into. All that's left from here is for things to get processed. Both in the courts and in my head.
Ohhh I'm glad you found something that worked, and for free! Worth the learning curve imo. But oof the frustration. I'll keep photorec in mind if I'm ever in a similar situation. Which reminds me...i still need to replace one of my ram sticks... 😅
If you get the drive working again, there are programs you can download that can help recover files i think. They cost money though unfortunately.

Amazingly, I actually accomplished a lot this year. Didn't make a ton of art. Didn't do anything flashy. But god... did I find myself. <3
Hard to put into words or images. But trust me. My world completely shattered this year. And I chose to rebuild it from the ground up.
