(whoops meant aseprite)
I’ve pixeled a bit in the past for a jam game and logos, and I’ve done a lot of iconography, which makes it feel familiar. I like having the limitations, and learning more about the style :)
Been tinkering around with pixelart in asesprite. It’s nice to make characters in a clean and minimal program. I try to start small (16-24px), but end up going twice as big so I can have a little more details and come closer to my (curvy) style and shapes.
A digital illustration of a young boy from the third episode of Mushi-shi titled "Tender Horns" depicting him small sets of horns as he covers his ears. Behind him are a mirrored set of hands, with a trio of "un mushi" and branching veins.

Mulder from the x-files wearing a suit and big square-shaped glasses. White light of a overhead projector is reflected in his glasses covering up his eyes.
i love bespectacled scully and mulder era
Macro shot of a tiny bonnet mushroom with a sparkly, lilac grey, bell-shaped cap, soft glowing gills and a powdery, grey stem surrounded by moss.
Lovely lilac grey ♡
DOS were the days..
Another screenshot I took of Scully from The X-Files capturing a moment when blue computer screen light is reflected in her oval-shaped glasses covering up her eyes. It all looks very 90s and slick.

Captain Janeway and Tom Paris salamanders from the Star Trek Voyager episode Threshold.
Forgot it was Threshold Day, but I’ll never forget that episode 🦎
Angie’s Tomodachi Life web series when?
Fascinating fact is that rosy bonnets are bioluminescent, emitting a faint green light at night. So they’re really the pink pixies of the forest :)
Closeup shot of a rosy bonnet mushroom with a curled-up cap, highlighting its soft pink, glowing gills, and a tall, tapered white stem, growing through a carpet of leaf litter on a forest floor.

Really enjoying The Blank Menu for You, a Korean talk show where guests place open-ended orders that chef Choi Kang Rok interprets into custom dishes. It’s very calming and slow, with cute awkward jokes and endearing stories revolving around memories of food.
I’ve been listening to a LotR audiobook and I keep dozing off during The Council of Elrond. It’s been weeks now but I love it.

i watched lord of the rings for the first time and now they are all my friends
Closeup shot of a budding branch covered in icy snow. Out of focus in the background a canal with late afternoon sun reflected in the water.
Frozen in time ❄️
This is awesome, thanks for sharing :) Looks like it was (inverte)great and perfect for you!
Haha thanks 🙌 Only wish I had a tiny hat for it. Good reminder to always bring tiny hats.
A tiny snow buddy with sticks for arms pointing up, a short twig nose and broken pumpkin seeds as eyes. It’s looking sad, funny and excited at the same time.
My best work of 2026
Thank you :) They’re so delicate, almost like porcelain.
Macro shot of a few minuscule bonnet mushrooms with glowing white, hood-shaped caps and sparkly, translucent, curved stems growing up a dark furrow in a tree covered in moss.
Wishing you all a sparkly and cozy new year

Two small bonnet mushrooms with cone-shaped caps and brown stems stick out among thick fallen pine needle branches on a woodland floor. Their faintly striped caps fade from light brown to a whitish serrated edge. The warm brown colors and pine needles make the scene feel very cozy.
Cozy times 🍂🌲
Macro shot of various tiny white mushrooms with sparkly convex caps and glistening hollow curved stems emerging from a dark fissure in the bark of a tree covered in moss. I drew eyes on their caps so they look like cute little fungi spirits.

A single tiny mycena mushroom with a cream-colored, umbonate cap and a long, hollow beige stem grows among autumn leaves on a forest floor. There’s a minuscule fungus gnat with long antennae perched upside down on the edge of the cap.
Tall beauty & a tiny friend 🍂
Three pressed ginkgo leaves of various sizes are laid out on a sketchbook. They are fan-shaped with veins radiating out into the leaf blade and have that beautiful autumn deep saffron yellow color.
I pressed some ginkgo leaves I found during a walk a few weeks ago. They’re so pretty! 🍂
Collection of nine closeup photos I took of nature scenes. Most feature the pixie cup lichen with tall light green stalks gradually flaring into goblet-shaped cups growing from a leafy patch on rotting wood. There’s one macro shot of a yellow-green inchworm looking like a mini brachiosaurus.
I love that I have so many of my own nature photo as refs and inspiration for art that I’m making. This way I can avoid all the fake ugly slop that’s invading the net. Good life hack 🌿

Some of Miyamoto's early drawings of Mario for the original Donkey Kong. There are color sprites of Mario walking, Paulina and Donkey Kong, and various sketches.
An early Super Mario Bros. sprite concept design sheet, with Mario's skidding sprite, an arms crossed pose, a jumping pose and him holding something in his hands.
These drawings are amazing. Miyamoto quote from an interview: “I was a rather analog person and did not know anything about technology. So, I learned how the screen was displayed from an in-house engineer. That's how I started doing pixel art.”
