I learned today, that the word "topiary" from the Latin "Topo opera" (shortened) which means "worked landscape" (opera = work, topo = place, like "topological"). Because apparently the Romans carved their shrubberies into animals and whatnot.
Hilarious. "I thought I could just spout pseudo-religious nonsense and stay back-bench, but somehow I became Speaker and now I have to fund basic government functions; my base are idiots and are against this."
The kind desk-guy at my Mom's care facility said "I like your shirt" today. I am a big ol' kinda fat guy. When you're big and bad, you go loud+plaid. Dude cheered me right up, tho.

Yeah, gotta make that clarinet reed vibrate consistently, w/o squeaking, it's a different mouth position than flute. A vibra-slap is a percussion instrument that makes a distinct rattly sound. Claiming to play vibra-slap is like saying "I play triangle" it really only does one note.
Played clarinet in band, 5th-8th grade. 1st chair, 8th grade.
Guitar, self-taught, since 7th grade. Vibra-slap and guitar in amateur Godspell productions, 1989, 2018.
