Here's a chance to get involved in some important #citizenscience.

If you spot any tagged Bogong moths over the next few weeks or months, report them to the Bogong Watch website (www.bogong.org) or record them on iNaturalist.

If you're doomscrolling, guess what? So far there are 51 kākāpō chicks hatched and thriving this season, the same number of birds as we had in TOTAL in the 90s! Only one chick has died and there are still fertile eggs waiting to hatch!

Let me start a belated thread of Aotearoa New Zealand silvan birds.

To lead things off, a New Zealand Bellbird photographed on Kapiti Island.

This comes on the back of reports of multiple organ transplant patients dying at Prince Alfred Hospital due to mould. Our hospitals are moudly death traps but don’t worry everyone, Albanese is sending $380bn to America and gifting their pedophile rapist president a gold-plated figurine.

Two kids with cancer died at Westmead Children’s Hospital due to mould in the wards. This is unacceptable and unbearable. Sorry is nowhere near enough

you can also get CDs from the library. big beautiful library has what you need (maybe. but if they don't tell them), and ofc the radio where in Naarm we are spoilt for choice

i haven't used spotify in a while and was using youtube music (a friend was paying for it for me) and now i dont use anything and it's actually so fine, reminds me of high school but in a nice way. I've been getting stuff on Bandcamp (sometimes just listening to) and have bought a couple of CDs but!
