"The driver goes north to get onto the freeway, passing over the apartment at seventy-five miles an hour. He asks if I'm going anywhere nice and a decade later, I wish I could tell him that yes, I did."

Fr though, the letter lives in my office now.

Just immense! I’m hooked, although I fear I’ve started at the top and may not find every match lives up to this one πŸ˜‚

There are two wolves inside of you. One runs marathons. The other has been in this chair since one o’clock and has one more rugby game yet to watch.

My poor conflicted mother, who has competed for both Scotland and New Zealand πŸ˜‚πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ And she’s sat here yelling at the Arsenal Sunderland match while I settle for the laptop.

I'm sat here, an only somewhat lapsed Kiwi, admittedly wearing an England shirt, really sad for them :( That was an opportunity.

Welly born and raised (although now live abroad).

Can confirm that no, you don't :(

Mind blowing. Last school's excuse seemed to be "Iffley Road pool is too far away" (1.8km, and they had mini buses).

Remember trekking to Kilbirnie every freaking morning from far-flung corners of Welly for ten years? I REMEMBER.

That is heartbreaking. The same thing happens here. I'm always stunned how many people in England can't swim too. UK Gov't even made swimming lessons mandatory in schools, yet my son's last two schools (not current one - they've got a 25m pool and they use it) just... didn't.
