In Gorton and Denton, Muslims and non-Muslims chose to vote for a politics of hope.
After years of politicians blaming migrants and minorities for all our problems, Mancunians voted to face down the politics of hate.
In this unity, there is hope for our country.
A major part of the campaign against the Greens will be racism.
It means targeting and demonising Muslims.
Both Blairites and the right will whip up a race war if it means defeating the left.
We have to stand firm against this.
A warning.
All the worst people in the country are now shitting themselves.
The mother of all campaigns is now going to be directed against the Green Party.
It will be an unrelenting smear campaign.
The Greens need to be ready for that - and so does everyone on the left.
The Labour Party must now be replaced.
Labour MPs currently sitting on vast majorities know they are not safe.
The Greens need to pick other candidates like Hannah Spencer - rooted, authentic, bright fighters for the majority against the elite.
