Yep I already brought this up 3 weeks ago. There is a way to turn it off in your home router settings.
Good cause it's ridiculous how much we are tracked on a day to day.
This week's focus is gonna be on cutting down on meta data. Most people like their privacy but most of us dont have it by a long shot. When u upload a photo to SM that u took from your π± believe it or not that has a ton of meta data in it. Instead take a screenshot of the pic & upload that.
You can still keep your regular messaging and email apps but if you're gonna have any private conversations, I would consider those options.
Remember who wanted you gone and who fought to keep you here. Remember who fought to pull families apart and who fought to keep them together. Remember who fought to take your rights away and who fought to make sure you had them in the first place. This πΈπΏwas a gift from god.
Protons paid subscription is a good bang for your buck. You get their encrypted email, encrypted calendar, encrypted password manager and encrypted VPN and 500 gigs of encrypted storage space for picturesand videos. I believe they're running about $12.99 a month for the whole bundle.
If you download a VPN be careful where you download it from. If you click on an ad or a link to download a vpn, those are highly suspect for ones that use malware. Stick to the app store on your phone.
Not enough
Love this queen πΈπΏ
For those of you that use Facebook Messenger or Instagram message I would think about turning on encrypted messages for your chats. I believe you have to do it individually per person you're speaking with. You can also set the messages to delete as well after a certain time frame.
Nobody gets to choose where they are born.
Love my city.... fuck ice
Another way for them to collect and sell more of your personal information. Meta is not in the social media business, they're in the data collection industry.
Ice have access to a GPS map that looks similar to Google maps. It has most of our information in there including a % showing the likelihood of you being at a certain location. Designed by a company called Palantir. This is one of the main tools they use while staking out a target.
Fun fact.. having a 20+ character password combination with special characters, numbers and upper and lowercase letters takes a current supercomputer thousands of years to crack using brute force. I highly recommend not letting your device not generate your password either. I've seen that go wrong.
If the Nazi ICE comes to your door
You hispanics and latinos that join ice disgust me. Every last one of you ain't worth a shit. I hope when it's all said and done you experience the same loss that you made others feel when you ripped their family members away. There's a lot of data leaks going around. Would suck if your name was in.
You lose again!!! And you will continue to lose and lose and lose. Look at the pictures of different people in different cities of all different backgrounds coming together to fight this. That's why you lost
Definitely π―
Yes definitely a lot to answer for. You're inhumane ways will be questioned and challenged on a national stage as it should be.
So obviously these data leaks of credentials and metadata are becoming more common nowadays. Whatsapp/facebook are part of meta so I would consider that as well. Change your password and think about something like an authenticator app. It's more secure than 2FA SMS and rotates the code every 30 sec.
I like to help make people digitally and cyber aware of what's going on around them with their everyday devices. What you do with that information is totally up to you but I find being educated about it is far more rewarding than not being. There are so many things that they sneak right under our π.
Yeah no I'll stick to google Gemini or hell even my old fashioned brain. I don't want anything that pulls from Grok.
So that new deal, the united states struck with tiktok includes the ability to track users on its platform. They're looking for a range of different data but location data is the most important to them. Please don't forget that tiktok usually has access to your photos, videos, microphone and camera.
Should have never been there to begin with smh.
Hmmm π€ wonder why??? Could it be that the very same federal government organization that promised to protect american citizens is also killing them in the same process?
Finally, the NRA has something to say.
