I read dorky trans Bill Nye and I'm here for it. We desperately need science communication that counters the false narratives coming from the far right. Thank you.

If any news outlets are covering this and want to talk to a trans Genomics PhD who specialized in human genetics and the evolution of sex, please reach out to me
This is complete nonsense scientifically. It's fascist eugenics, not biology
Setting a horrifying precedent for genocide
Better health? Address poverty.
Safer communities? Address poverty.
Less addiction, less crime, less suffering? Address poverty.
Poverty isn’t a side issue.
It’s the engine driving most of the problems we claim to care about!
POVERTY KILLS.
Omg we need more of this in politics
Similarly, Canadians shouldn’t be okay with 18 per day, even if that’s down from the 23 during the pandemic. One death is a tragedy. So many hospitalizations, not even considering how many survive with permanent (hypoxia-induced) brain damage.
I will forever connect spring forward to one less hour of call on the weekend.
Sadly...

Out of the mouths of babes....truth...brutal, unsolicited truth
Please read and share. Thank you!
Governments are responding to the toxic drug crisis with "organized abandonment," withdrawing support and leaving people vulnerable to harm, poverty, and death.

Nothing wakes you up faster than the sound of the dog puking.
Wide awake now
Might as well doom scroll
Its always about oil. Fossil fuels will be the end of us. The irony is we will meet our ultimate demise because of our obsession with long dead biomatter.
One can only assume the premise was taken literally as a playbook for this president.

Reason why I dreaded group projects in school. There was always that one person who did not contribute.
The UCP love to spend our money on things that do not benefit actual average Albertans.
You need to be a UCP bro to have the Albertan advantage.
Someone tell me if the provincial property tax increase will completely negate the grocery rebate from the federal government...there seems to be a pattern that the UCP takes extra federal dollars directly from our pockets.
Really enjoy women's hockey and ringette.
When a political party targets populations of patients for discrimination and marginalization within our community....no healthcare provider should support that party.
Our professional obligations are to provide care without prejudice.
I love this
Its not just the NHL...its the feeder levels of hockey below that. The training ground for these behaviors starts early.
“We discussed how we’re willing to do it if the resources and terms are correct, but the government has not met with us or done anything. Zero. Nothing.”
This is the opposite of moral leadership...
Canada needs to be a leader in compassionate care.
As a healthcare worker, we have a moral obligation to provide care.
Turning away people from care is not only devastating for the patients...it causes moral distress and injury in healthcare workers.
BPs erupted in cheers! Awesome!!!!

My classroom for avalanche training
In my career I have provided care to people without any provincial health number...most were visitors of some sort to our country.
The majority of that work went unpaid. My colleagues did the same.
People in need of urgent and emergent care were not turned away.
That is the humanitarian choice.
