My name is Kyla. It was an unusual name growing up that many people to this day still get it mixed up. I believe it reflects my calling to stand out apart from this world. And I was told my name stands for beauty, royalty, and victory.

I have chosen to believe that.

One wonders why it turns into breakdown after trying to move forward, fighting to believe in something better, and then feel like you're not even trying.

That's why what might not seem like much or insignificant to others is a big deal to me. I'm not sure many realize what it took to get there.

In my personal life, it's always a fight to even take the tiniest step forward. One ends up tolerating and letting things go for years before finally getting tired of it.

But that becomes the battle. It's a fight to even get anywhere, and then you're made to feel it's never enough.

But I think there definitely was a shift in more recent years that others have also noticed.

It's not like I don't understand why, given the state of the world (and deep down I know why this is all happening from prophetic perspective), but...man.

You ever feel people have gotten more insensitive over the years? Sometimes I think I'm gaslighting myself into thinking that, and that maybe it was just because I had a slightly more innocent view when I was younger...
