Unfortunately, we got a "businessman", no one can touch him in the number of bankruptcies...

Saying that you -must- be grateful is what domestic abusers and Russian prison guards do. You must take the violence and say you like it. It is a mark of fascism.

Paperwork is literally how immigration works. Ogles is just a fascist who doesn’t understand how our constitution works.

β€œWe’re not starting a war, we’re ending one” was a Russian talking point on Ukraine β€” four years ago.

I was in a 2 hour briefing today on the Iran War. All the briefings are closed, because Trump can't defend this war in public.

I obviously can't disclose classified info, but you deserve to know how incoherent and incomplete these war plans are.

1/ Here's what I can share:

Let's see... Australia, Japan and the Netherlands aren't operating in the area. The UK seems to be hedging so it's unlikely to be them. Let's ask Mister "d*mn the rules of engagement" if it was them...

Probably not a total surprise the USN has refused. Too many things can go wrong, either from mines or "irregular" attacks.

No one wants to be the one that lost an escort ship and started off a really, really intense "conflict".

Or snatching defeats from the jaws of victory.

Also, the gas tax is a very small fraction of the price of gas, with the highest being CA at 70 cents per gallon. With the average in CA being $5.29, gas will still be over $4.50 a gallon... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

The product feels like a solution in search of a problem. The old method seems to work fine (stop by the library and borrow the book or at the local bookstore to browse over a cup of coffee and decide if it's for you).

That was an incredible match! Tien had to dig deep to save those 2 match points, then played a great breaker.

I think he wore down ADF at the end when he hit a weak slice into the net.

On to the QF!

Another big win for Learner Tien, reaching the ATP-WTA 1000 Indian Wells quarterfinals by beating Davidovich Fokina in a third set tiebreak, saving two match points.

Tien awaits winner of Fonseca-Sinner.

BREAKING: As many as 150 U.S. troops have been wounded in the war with Iran, according to sources familiarβ€”far higher than the Pentagon’s publicly disclosed figure of just 8 seriously wounded troops. The true toll of this war is already far worse than the public has been told. (Reuters)

I think this story is a really good example for people to look at when it comes to understanding bias at NYT. It's not that the reporter, Dana Rubinstein, says anything outright false. But the framing, word choices, etc., add up to an unprofessional and biased account.

Leaders of both parties should be calling for Witkoff's immediate resignation after these remarks. He is a Russian patsy, a traitor, and this has just gone for too long. It is has to end.

The dictator's new shoes? Trump demands his subordinates wear the same footwear. With revelations about a bizarre footwear fetish, the president joins a long line of autocrats throughout history by insisting that his subordinates copy his style β€” or else.

But apparently… it is real. Donald Trump reportedly has a footwear fetish. He’s testing the loyalty of his lieutenants by whether they’ll lace up in the same black shoes he wears. And yes, it’s creepy.
