what do you mean "fullscreen option", press alt-enter you lazy bastard.
welcome to videogame! you get two resolutions! two! do not ask for more.
apex legends getting a gundam event just rubs salt in the wound. we'll never get titanfall 3 but hey, here's some mecha skins you can buy. why do you *hurt* me?
i didn't expect to finish dot hack 1 so quickly. i am now RPGless. i am currently not playing a role in a game. i've never been in this situation.
i'm very behind on chaotix casefiles but the teasers ive heard of his voicework sound great. i'm just happy that yote boy's got a job again.
remember infinite? he's back! in audio drama form.
chaotix casefiles continues to give sonic fans what they want

this approach lived on in soulslikes among other genres of course but i wish party-based rpgs reincorporated it. i greatly missed it during my more modern forays with new tales of/FF games.
i really like the emphasis on timing and positioning in combat that older arpgs had, like abilities having uninterruptible animations that leave you open to attack and whatnot. it's easy to call it "clunky" but it adds a satisfying layer of tactics.
i saw the "pickmon" designs without context and straight-up assumed they were official evolutions or something, it's almost admirably brazen.
honestly, devs edging as close as possible to pokemon copyright infringement is just hilarious now. see what you can get away with. paint pikachu green.

i managed to keep grinding to a minimum but gave into a few field clean-outs near the end and ohhh, that's gotta get broken up with something else sdlkfj.

i was hoping the anime's surprisingly introspective writing would surface here but this side of the series is firmly in the mystery angle. hopefully the other volumes pick up that baton.
finished.
it's repetitive and shallower than i'd like for an action-RPG, but the first volume's sheer Vibes keeps the game consistently engaging regardless. i had a great time overall.
that said, leaving Vol. 2 for a bit later slkdjf, don't want to burn out.
dot hack's keyword dungeon system leads to hilariously unsubtle locations like Happy Awesome Icecream Land and God's Putrid Gore Hellscape
it's so funny that the IA's archive of PS2 roms has not one, not two, not three but FOUR pages to cover the S category. apparently we just fucking loved that letter in the 2000s.
you can cleanly divide Sin into a forward-thinking first third, a fine mindless shooter middle third and an unbalanced trainwreck of a final third.
and this isn't counting the expansion pack.
that Sin nightdive remaster's been on the backburner for so long that the steam listing still has it as a pre-alpha, that oven time sldkfj.
i hope it's pulled off well. Sin remains the most underrated, likeable yet heavily flawed shooter of the time. there's so many neat ideas in there.
he's friendly but in that funny cat way where he's fine with pets but mills around you as if you don't exist lksdjf.
i met a cat on my grocery run who looked like a coffee so im calling him Latte.
denzel's the most consistent rapper out there, every one of his albums is a great listen. i still put on Zuu for the hard-hitters.
oh shit i forgot i did these too
