One of my favorite Grateful Dead/Dave’s Picks releases in quite some time. Full of energy and great playing. Lots of highlights — the Jack Straw opener, Cassidy, Sugaree, It Must Have Been the Roses, Estimated > He’s Gone — but Garcia’s Black Peter on disc three is some of the best I’ve heard.

Also, note that the song charted under Country Music Digital Sales (not streams). This is downloads not streams. Charting here can be gamed relatively low cost. I would bet that Suno the software used to create the song also created the downloads to get publicity for their product.

AI Song Tops Billboard Chart – Why We Need Transparency NOW -... The curse is cast with AI and recorded music. But how about we make this one, easily implementable concession to the human creators who rely on recorded music to make a sustainable living.

AI labeling is clearly needed. Also clear: we are rapidly moving to an era of AI-generated entertainment made and sold cheaply to the masses, while “human-made” entertainment and live experiences will increasingly be reserved for the wealthy.
