Pitchers and catchers start reporting this week! #SpringTraining
Next up on the sports docket:
Thursday – First pitchers and catchers workout at Twins camp in Fort Myers, Fla.
Oops time to rejoin everything🫣🤣
Happy to be wrong so quickly lol, I will say I saw Baty in LF at a Cyclones game it was not good
Yeah I just left all the Mets Facebook groups I was in this week (lucky for me right before the Tucker signing). I have had my Twitter account on private for about a year now, which stops me from commenting and if I can’t comment why bother to read the the hate.
I think you use Baty as LF this year, sucks that he has to keep moving but as long as he hits I think he helps this team at any position. My issue is I don’t think they want Bichette the way they wanted Tucker. Bo is not as good a fielder at any position and not as good a hitter.
Like I want something to happen, but also aside from the guys we wanted to come back, no one that signed so far was a lock to make this team better. Tucker, Bellinger and Valdez are the guys I’m most interested in. Besides guys they could trade for. So patience I will have.
My board is a different generation, I will have to pull it out but many of the spots are different.
It’s really gotten old how often the NYT provides a platform for Garbage takes from Republicans. I understand it’s the opinion section, but why do they never seem to post opinions from democrats…
Political Violence is bad…against republicans only - what Fox News and Trump admin is saying🤦🏻♂️
We all are sometimes😂
By the end of this season he will be 1st, 2nd, 5th & 7th on the list which is just nuts. Ik the power is not as prolific as it was in the first few years but he is still a top power hitter in the game. I’m not saying they should unlimited years this, but blank check for the next 4-5 years.
What was that?🤣
More than 1 in 4 workers without jobs have been unemployed for at least six months, new data shows.
That number is a post-pandemic high and a level typically only seen during periods of economic turmoil.
He still bitter which is sad, and goes to show the jets did the right thing moving on, if ur bitter that’s ok, just don’t show it in public.
It’s frustrating that they won’t push these starters more, but at the same time it’s clear they have maybe 4-5 innings in them each night. Everyone is clearly tired. It feels like they are going to limp into October and just be too tired to really win anything.
Also do we see those numbers in a “down year” for him🤦🏻♂️
Does not help that they rank him lower then his back up, which is interesting.
I looked 4 times and missed him🤦🏻♂️
I thought it was strange that they had Cousins ranked thinking it was projected starters, now I’m more perplexed that McCarthy is ranked but not Penix?
They need physical bodies, Carrasco is not the pitcher he use to be, at this point he is at 7-8th SP.
Every republican accusation is a confession. The reason they think this way is they are all a bunch of lying crooks and all hang out together.
Seems like a misjudgment given that the bullpen has been very shaky since mid June
Not sure why they were batter to batter with him that early, he only hit 90 pitches today and had managed to scatter 4 hits through 6 innings at that point, he clearly was pitching well. Seems like they need to trust their best guys more.
What do u mean? Peterson pitched to 1 batter in the 8th and they pulled him and it all fell apart? Thats kinda my point, either let him keep going or start Stanek with a clean inning, it might not have worked but u don’t give them the best chance to succeed doing it this way.
Ik its hind sight but it seems like every time we let a SP go for “one more batter” to start an inning and then bring in the RP it back fires. Either let the SP finish the inning (assuming they don’t totally implode) or let the RP start a clean inning. 1 single should not be enough to pull him.
This both is made up of true lovers of the game, they are not homers and never have been, it’s one of the things that makes them the best in baseball. They call it like they see it and impressive play/player is something they appreciate even if that player plays for another team.
“Has The NY Times lost its way” - fixed their title because they have gone off the rails since the days when they use to be a slightly left leaning paper that was used as a viable source for college research papers.
I wish I was so rich that I could turn down 10s of millions of dollars to spend a year rehabbing my body.
6 man rotation or one of the SPs getting sent down? Also interested how this affects what they do when Mantas comes back.
