The Senate has agreed to the House's changes on SB 5855, Sen. Valdez's bill to bar law enforcement from wearing face coverings.
That means the next stop is my desk.

We are not standing by and leaving ourselves at the mercy of the federal government’s chaotic, politicized, unscientific policies.
Yesterday I signed my bill with Insurance Commissioner Kuderer to give Washington state decision-making authority on what vaccines to recommend.
Thank you to everyone who brought it to fruition today after many years of work, including Rep. Thomas, Sen. Saldaña, and many hardworking advocates.
