Sunrise over a city
Glasgow university lit up in purple lights
I mean you could have beautiful sunrises on your way to work and beautifully lit buildings on your way home. (Iβll stop posting pics now)
Maybe, but even if I talk to people who have a regular 9-5 they seem less worried about dark mornings than they do about dark evenings.
Nice to see you here Joerg!
Itβs funny though, that those who shout about the horrible dark evenings are not convinced by the dark morning argument. I wonder why that is.
Image of a city during the sunrise. Buildings are clearly visible. This would be November time 7:50am during standard time.
Image of the city but just as the sun is rising. It is dark and the buildings are not clearly visible at all. This would be 7:50am in November during daylight saving time.
Would you rather start your day with the sun rise (left, standard time) or in darkness (right, Daylight Saving Time) Letβs not have permanent DST! Check out our British Sleep Society statement on this topic : onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/... photos inspired by @savestandard.bsky.social
Thanks for this Tony!
