Today, we lost a dear friend, fierce comrade, rare human being. I have known Barbara Lubin for plus 40 years.
Difficult to imagine this world without her steady presence, moral clarity, boundless compassion.

It seems to me that state-sponsored abductions, or extraordinary renditions, ought to be at the top of our list of contemporary outrages and existential threats. Nobody, regardless of citizenship status, should not be detained and disappeared to torture facilities or third parties.

3. saw a black branch with blood that kept dripping
4. saw a room full of men with their hammers a-bleeding

Can’t we agree that the US should follow its own laws with regard to US weapons use and humanitarian aid? Shouldn’t these laws apply in every case, including in the case of our weapons transfers to Israel?
