A global 🌏 Commission in the Lancet urges the medical profession to shift from treating late-stage coronary artery disease to early prevention and cure. The Commission, including WARC expert A/Prof Sarah Zaman, involved over 20 specialists from the UK, China, Thailand, the US, and Saudi Arabia.

Our next paper will provide a more in-depth read of the factors that influenced study activities, including participant feedback on the intervention- 👀 this space.

Diabetes Australia announces $40 million for research | Diabetes Australia Diabetes Australia has announced it will invest $40 million in diabetes research over the next 10 years.

Congratulations to Dr Simone Marschner and team on securing a $60k grant!
Funding will support research into understanding the link between gestational diabetes and the onset of type 2 diabetes, focusing on both genetic/non-genetic factors.
