Incredibly happy that Jason Stockwood has been announced as the Labour candidate for Greater Lincolnshire Mayor.

He understands the unique challenges and opportunities facing North East Lincolnshire, and he has the vision to ensure our area gets the best out of devolution.

I had the honour to meet John Prescott a few times while at Hull University. He dedicated his life fighting for working class people and communities, and he was always true to his roots, from a union steward to deputy PM. He will be truly missed. My thoughts are with his family.

🌨 ❄️ Snowy day in Park Ward ❄️🌨

Had a lovely chat with a resident this morning about a wide range of issues. Then I had a walk around a wintry Peoples Park. Then, popped by Coffee on the Park for a Flat white and a tea cake.

Brilliant to see the team out on Scartho Road over the last few days, removing the fallen leaves. Thanks for all the hard work.

It was amazing to be invited to speak to the students yesterday at Scartho Junior Academy yesterday for UK Parliament Week. I was joined by Dan Humphrey (Scartho Ward) to speak about the importance of local democracy, community engagement, and our roles as councillors.

This Saturday's surgery in Croft Baker ward is now fully booked, so I am now advertising my next surgery in Yarborough!
