I've thrown together a HUD driven universal material application send>receiver system for myself, as I've found myself wanting to use materials on items which don't have an applier system after getting tired of applying things manually. the USB port is unrigged but the included animation is based around plugging it into your neck. Everything will be copy/mod so you will be free to replace the animation and edit the script to accommodate.
I was working on something like this with PBR! It works but I got stuck trying to get it to apply only to faces that were not transparent.
this is a fileshare usb. Put things in the drive, configure the notecard, and it will give them out when it's plugged in.
this is an RLV "voice modulator". currently it's hardcoded in as leetspeak but I'm working on switching it to notecard config.
next release is a usb neckport + scripted usbs that plug into it, with animations and everything.
the system is meant to be modular and a full perm usb stick + script template will also be for sale for commercial and personal use.
