We monitored 42 territories during 4 years.
We expected that their diet varied according with land use in their territory, but it didn't.
However, elevation was a powerful predictor of their diet.

Another two nests today in Soria. Some roe deer calves remains in the nest. We have tagged another two male chicks with GPS. The second one quite a fighter.

We have had a lucky start of the spring season. Yesterday we tagged an adult territorial male in the north of Spain. A beautiful and combative individual. We named him Gaitzarra aka the bad guy.

This is a 3 year old golden eagle juvenile that we captured last January in Toledo's mountains while we were trying to capture an adult female.
Due to his movements these two last months I would bet he is her son.
