This morning the Labor Government couldn’t even bring themselves to support a motion that condemns Islamophobia and calls for action. Instead, they shut down debate while whitesplaining a Muslim woman and attacking the Greens.
After watching this I checked whether "collective self-defence" exists in international law. It does & is defined. However, apparently, it must be "a last resort & proportionate". I query whether Australia's assistance qualifies as "last resort" for the UAE, as opposed to acquiescence to USA
