We closed off Cybersecurity Awareness Month by conducting a Child Online Safety session at St. Gracious Secondary School in Lira District, Uganda, in collaboration with Trident Youth Engagement. The training focused digital rights, online safety, and cybersecurity.
States should refuse to sign or ratify the Convention. Those that have already committed to signing should adopt concrete human rights safeguards.

Our team had the privilege of attending a very insightful workshop on data protection under the "Re-centering the Civic Internet Through Partner Engagement" project by Oxfam Uganda and the Center for Constitutional Governance.
The meeting convened experts to:Identify key protection gaps, Share promising practices and innovative approaches and Build recommendations to better safeguard and support WHRDs facing TFGBV. This dialogue was critical step to ensuring safe online spaces for WHRDs
