It was the 60s so based on the Byrne Arena reference before your time, but also undoubtedly I remember it bc I wanted to go so badly and my parents just never did stuff like that.

Irony part: I ended up as a figure skating coach with a national competitor daughter lol.

It was the poster of the skater whose skates were toe shoes. Since I never went either to the Ice Capades or skating I was like 20 when I realized this couldn't possibly be.
