I can't believe people et confused with this.

This warms my heart.
Two chapters away from finishing my Master's degree (creative writing) thesis.

Starting book 1 in the Kingdom of Afara.
Have to think up a whole new magic and religious system for The Kingdom of Afara that's as robust as The Kingdom of Ura.
I feel lost without a story to fight with.
Would you be interested in a series of 8 books?
13,000 more words to go and my series will be complete.
Definitely!
10 more chapters to go!
45,000 words to go.
10 more chapters until the kingdom of ura is complete.
FINALLY.
I think my current WIP suffers from sagging middle syndrome.
Time to fi it!
Okay, this part of my finale is dead boring, and if I'm bored, the reader's bored.
And I'm bored as fuck.
I agree.
What can a character to do in 5 days that's narratively significant?
I've got to think real hard.
After The Kingdom of Ura is finished, I've decided: no more self-publishing. Why pay all this money just to be ignored?
So after this book, it's trad or nothing.
YES I FINALLY CAME UP WITH THE SCENE!
How hard do I have to stare at my manuscript for it to write itself?
The religion plays heavily into everything. The gods hear people's prayers and are active agents in The Kingdom of Ura. The finale is all about the gods, in fact. There are 10 god and 2 deities.
Finally making some, very little, headway with Heavy is the Head: Part 2: Book 8 in the Kingdom of Ura.
After a mental battle of months.
Most days I'm fine with my books not being a success. Not today. just one of those days.
It won't come along!
IT JUST WON'T!
This book feels like a mental battle that I am losing HARD.
I'm very much over fantasy book covers with the Elizabethan-dressed heroin is holding daggers/a bow and arrow, looking for danger in the old city/abandoned road.
It feels like so overdone.
Right there with ya.
Writing this eighth and final novel in The Kingdom of Ura isn't supposed to feel this way... it feels like I'm fighting.
Their Heart a Hive by @foxenlock.bsky.social arrived!
Thank you, Stef, for this book.
I've waited for it for four long years hahaha!
This amazing adventure not only enraptured me but inspired me to write my own debut.
Thanks for the book, the inspiration, the love!
Can't wait to enjoy again.
I, too, am in that position. it feels like I am having a brawl with my book.
