#WordWeavers 14: Is selling your work for money important to you when you write?
What is this "money" thing I keep hearing about?

My mom combed my hair when I was an infant. Haven't changed it since.
I'm 66.
#WritersCoffeeClub Mar. 13: Talk about an experience when you consulted an expert for a piece of writing.
Well, I DO talk to myself a lot. I'd tell more about all of my expertise, but I'm humble, too!

#WordWeavers March 13: Tell us about a quirk your SC has.
The mad scientist that works for the antagonist needs to be drunk and high to enter his lab due to the iris scanner. He was high when he set up his login.

Be careful... we already elected one draft-dodging, incontinent, loud mouth.
A true mystery for today. How can so many people write, yet not know how to read?

I take back anything bad I ever said about The Atlantic. One of the writers recommended Iron Sky as a weird watch movie. Truly a guilty pleasure of a movie.

#WordWeavers Mar 8: How do you approach stereotypes while creating characters?
I write humor, so I work to make fun of tropes.
#writing
#WritersCoffeeClub Do the seasons influence your writing?
Well, I'm Hungarian, so I tend to add a lot of paprika. That's probably why many people see red while reading.

My cat would push it the other way. Wet food is at three.
Sorry, I should have used that term. But, my reply still stands. Hegseth does not think it was a black mark. He labeled it a "quiet death strike."
The frigate sinking was not a mistake. It was identified and sunk. It was intentional.
An argument can be made that the military is embarrassed by the backlash. But, comments by Hegseth that our military will not be "politically correct" tells me that he doesn't see it that way.

Is there a local writing community near you? Do you participate in it?
Yes: www.litcleveland.org/about
Really good group, but they keep making me write in the workshops!

#WordWeavers March 6: If you have several stories, which one should a new reader start with?
My first one. If they are not offended enough with it, then they can try the second.
I really should have an offense meter on the cover, so the reader is forewarned!

That made me laugh. I hope you don't mind if I use something like that in my book! I have an awkward romance brewing in it. And, I really want it to be funny.
I watched Wonder Man and thought, "What a great show! I hope they do not have a second season."
How long until Trump replaces JD Vance with Zohran Mamdani?
#WritersCoffeeClub On what are you unwilling to compromise?
Mostly on what my cat wants while I write.
Of course, the cat doesn't compromise much.

#ScribesAndMakers Mar. 2: Do you know your story ahead of time?
I only need the beginning and end. The middle is the writer's adventure.

Do you write scenes out of order? If so, how do you decide their arrangement?
That sounds like you think I have planned any of this.
That's so cute!

Does your overall goal differ from project to project?
My first WIP is meant to just be funny.
My second is a thought experiment with humor mixed in.
#writing
#WordWeavers March 1: What is your greatest fear about your characters?
I'll forget to write in for them to change their underwear, and then they get in an accident.
#writing
#WritersCoffeeClub March 1: What is the fundamental goal you seek to achieve with your current WIP?
Finnish it.
I've always wanted to visit Finland, and maybe they would like me if I had it translated.
But, I probably need to finish it, first.

Would you like to meet any of your characters? Would you tell them who you are?
So... I would end up being a genie to each of them?
