Just watched the first episode of this with the ladies. There is some compelling material. Not much to fault in this first episode; the 32nd century tech is believable -- assuming the species survives that long.

Wow! I didn't realize things were that bad.
No matter how cold it gets here in my little frigid part of the world, the ice always melts.
The white snowdrops and purple crocuses will bloom even before the last of the snow has fled.
It will take longer this year -- perhaps not until 2027.

Winter’s here. Came last night.
I’m going to miss these weekly lunches.
All clean.
Cleaned, restocked, and ready for spring
I planted them at 1’. They peeked up over the fence last year.
After 4 years they are 1/2 way to their full 8’ height and have nearly filled out.
A pleasant looking sound and wind barrier.
They are still alive!
Was sure I was going to find when I got home that a frost had taken them.
The heat island has gifted them a few more days of life
