I’m really thankful to both @goblin-menace.bsky.social and @goblin4coin.bsky.social for organising a fundraiser and to anyone who donated during our donathon.
The support everyone has shown us during this time honestly shocked us and made us feel far more loved than we ever could have expected.

But the money we had to get a shipping container on our land to live in is dwindling, any help to get a roof over our heads is appreciated and we can’t wait to return to streaming and living life less stressfully.

But with the Christmas break coming up they can’t get the required materials delivered until next year and are unsure when in January it would even arrive.
That leaves us where we are now at the moment we are using money for our super and house sale to stay in accommodation…

Now we need to get a vehicle crossing which was wasn’t something we couldn’t afford … until we found out our road is owned by not the council and cost 4 times as much to do any works on and takes much longer.
We finally found someone willing to do the work after weeks of searching…

So we decided to buy some of the cheap land and put a small, off grid modular home on it, however we had to wait to get this land and stayed in in a crappy hotel for a while till settlement.
Upon settlement we realised we could not access the land as there was a ditch we couldn’t see in photos.

For anyone curious we had to sell our home last year before the bank took it from us and left us in some hefty debt.
Luckily we were able to sell it in time though we were not left with a large budget to find somewhere else and though we tried we were unable to find a rental that could take us.

Sharky and I have been going through some housing troubles and our good friends @goblin-menace.bsky.social and @goblin4coin.bsky.social are hosting a fundraiser event to help over on their twitch channels.
We will also be there as guests for the whole 24 hour stream happening 4pm 14th Dec AEST.

I love that you took this moment and turned a simple silly line into a masterpiece, I smile and laugh every time I see this!
