Also— they should just listen to their parents, delay the wedding. Grow up and come back to one another with the benefits of some additional maturity. Conrad only wants Belly when she’s not pining over him. I don’t think it’s possible for his egotistical, self-involved nature to change.

I haven’t seen any of the show. But as a reader of TSITP I fully hated what Jenny Han did to Jeremiah’s character. He and Belly are victims of poor timing. But when you actually evaluate their relationship and how they show up for one another (without jealousy) i think it is clear that he’s the one
