It's infuriating and frankly disrespectful to call our modern-day Gestapo, aka ICE, "law enforcement officers." They're nothing of the sort. Real law enforcement protects (or should protect) people. ICE terrorizes them.
Four people, with their hands up, standing behind 2 people sitting. The four people standing are US citizens who were detained, the two people are families whose family members were killed by migrants.
Jayapal is now introducing 4 US citizens who were detained for at least 6 hours merely for observing ICE.
Kristi Noem sent a much-delayed list of USCit detained by ICE yesterday. None of these four were on the list.
Just a random reminder that over 50 members of Congress collectively own millions of dollars in defense contractor stocks.
They stand to personally profit from wars that enrich these contractors.
Make no mistake, this is legalized corruption.
