Also another counselor gave me breathing exercises to do. I do these in conjunction with a prayer of sorts, “Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior” sometimes with prayer beads, sometimes just counting on my fingers.

I’ve done many of the things others have recommended. I went on meds post-9/11 (I was in NYC), which helped until they didn’t. For me, verbalizing my anxiety was helpful.

I love this time of year. This arrangement was outside our local Mexican restaurant last fall. I’m sure they will do something similar again.

Welcome to Kilohana Plantation, Kauai, Hawaii. Formerly a large sugar plantation operated by C and H Sugar, the plantation now serves as an animal refuge and site for vegetation of all types, like the taro growing in photo 1. There’s a little train that takes you around, so everyone can do it.

In an era that looked as if it might be defined by an American man of depraved cruelty, corruption & shame, what a magnificent thing the Catholic Church has done. The elevation of an American man of goodness, grace, humility, mercy & faith to the Throne of St. Peter is moving & momentous for us all.

If you consider self-publishing, that might be a good option for you. I’ve done it. There are good editors, formatters/designers, and cover designers on Fiverr. I have used the same formatter and cover designer for several projects.
