Killing is fun.
Killing is fun.
Pete Hegseth is responsible for killing 175 schoolkids in Iran because he gutted the group responsible for making sure the military doesn't hit civilian targets. Hegseth may be correct that the US doesn't knowingly target civilians, but in this case, gross negligence is not an excuse for a massacre.
Imagine the reaction in the US if ~175 schoolgirls had been killed by a targeted Iranian missile. (Or anyone's missile.)
This is an atrocity.
USA never met a war it didnβt like.

Do I have any friends here who know Vancouver BC and could recommend a good real estate agent?
Great story.
He canβt define it, because whiteness is created to be invisible. Itβs about domination over others, pure and simple.
Damn, yeah.
Farm workers. The fields on the field. The legacies of slavery and colonialismβthe sugar cane plantation, labor power, power crisisβdespite it all, the future reaches through the tv to the past to make our postcolonial present.

My article on the occupational sterilizations at a chemical factory in West Virginia has escaped the containment of the paywall.
A doctor who witnessed the shooting submits a sworn declaration in federal litigation to halt ICE surge in MN:
"I did not see him attack the agents or brandish a weapon of any kind."
and
"The victim had at least three bullet wounds in his back."

Every elected official who swore to uphold the constitution needs to understand that weβre in the middle of an unconstitutional authoritarian takeover of the US and itβs time to take a side.

Two days ago it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before that, Mark Kelly. Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic.
The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.
Congrats! Sounds like a great book.
This is surreal. 4 Oglala Lakota men kidnapped by ICE in Minneapolis have finally been located. One of them was released but the other 3 are being held at Fort Snelling, a former concentration camp used to imprison Native people incl. the Dakota 38 during Dakota Wars.

Itβs a lawless totalitarian occupation of an American city.
Great cover!!
They don't seem to realize that the video of them abusing a legal observer is probably worse than whatever video the legal observer had already obtained of them.
So, the First Amendment is a thing of the past by the way.

This is a great way to support immigrant families and a local business in St. Paul. Purchase gift cards at El Burrito Mercado or donate directly to Neighborhood Houseβhelping sustain a local business while providing families with the resources they need to put food on the table.
Iβm always happy to see the Panama Canal getting attention. This was a fun interview.
I canβt wait! When does it arrive?
