Tomorrow, the Local Generation Act SSB 3092 / HSB 629 is up for a full committee vote. This bill would expand community solar in Iowa, giving families, renters, and congregations access to clean, affordable energyβ€”even if they can’t install solar at home.

Taking action is quick and it really matters. When people of faith show up together, legislators pay attention.

Please take a moment to sign the action alerts and share them with your networks. Let’s show up strong!

Wade Dooley, age 43, a real farmer, a real conservationist, and a real Democrat for Iowa Secretary of Agriculture!

β€œDooley has worked to implement conservation practices on the farm including no-till, cover crops, oxbow restoration and enrollment of tracts in the Conservation Reserve Program.”

It's illegal for the president to relieve student loan debt. It's completely fine for the president to unilaterally decide to have the head of a foreign nation black bagged on foreign soil.

I've had a hard time getting anything to grow from seed in our backyard most likely due to the 2 black walnut trees... but we've been successful with plugs and more established plants. Hence asking! But I'm going to look out for them. I was able to find some other asters, but I'd like more natives!

Yet another stumbling block in the road. Renewable energy is cheaper than fossil fuels! And if you are angry about this, invest in organizations that are doing the work on the ground in YOUR state. (Most of us give more bang for your buck than giving to a political candidate.)

"Go to an old cemetery. See all the baby graves from before the 1950s & 60s? After that, hardly any. That's when people started vaccinating their children. If you're unsure what to do to protect your kids, the answer is literally written in stone." β€” Michael Okuda
