π‘ Myth busted: STIs can show up at any time. If you're sexually active, regular testing is the only way to stay in the know β not just a one-time thing.

2/ From Dr. Helen RodrΓguez TrΓas: an OG of the Womenβs Health Movement who helped bridge economic & racial gaps in U.S. abortion access. She was also instrumental in establishing federal guidelines to stop forced sterilization that targeted Latina, Black, Indigenous, & poor communities. π©ββοΈπ©Ί

Learning about pregnancy in sex education should be age-appropriate, medically accurate, and include different experiences like IVF and surrogacy.

It's the anniversary of the Hyde Amendment & w/ nearly 50 years of denying abortion coverage to patients (disproportionally low-income patients, women of color, immigrant women) we're hopeful to one day see it gone.
