Just A Tinker ๐ŸŸฅ๐Ÿ๐ŸŸฅ

@john-gardi

I've always been a tinker. I started by taking stuff apart. Then I learned how to put stuff back together, then how to fix it. It's a way of life for me really. http://justatinker.com

The Houthis came close to closing the Red Sea with a variety of means mostly acquired from Iran.

So... we'll suspend those fourteen really well thought out sanctions and prohibitions for a month and just see what happens! ๐Ÿคท

I keep thinking of the 700 Kuwaiti oil rigs Iraqis blew up before retreating.
That inferno wasn't even as existential as Iran must feel now, Iraq just didn't want Kuwaiti rigs pouching crude from their side of the border.
There's hundreds of oil tankers stuck in the Gulf that are just as vulnerable.

You'd think private home ownership would be a literal pillar of the American Dream like universal health ca... oh, right. ๐Ÿคฆ

Congress hasn't passed many bills since inaucoupration day so passing none isn't a big stretch. ๐Ÿ’
(The 'p' in 'inaucoupration' is silent. ๐Ÿ˜)
(Actually... all ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฆ 'p's are silent! ๐Ÿ˜)

He's a coward, he'll sign it out of fear that Congress will turn on him.
If the Senate voted this in with such a majority, I think the House will vote overwhelmingly for it.

It passed the Senate and the orange demagogue doesn't dare not sign it with only 10 Senators voting it down.

I suppose all the single family homes investors own will be grandpersoned in?
What about duplexes and townhouses?
I hope they rolled those into the law as well.

Thankfully I've only had to replace one of the old keyboards but I was making one MB Pro from two nonfunctioning ones.
But if I had to do it again, I'd take everything out of the one with the dead keyboard instead of just replacing the dead keyboard in a MB where everything else worked! ๐Ÿคฆ

The reason there are 80+ screws holding the old MB Pro/Air keyboards down was because there were screws between each row of keys.
It was the best way to make the keyboard strong enough without having a bulky frame.
Mind you, the teardown vid shows no other adhesives were used in the rest of the NEO.

This just happened so be patient.
All of these KC-135 refueling tankers are over 60 years old though.

One caveat is that the keyboard appears to be glued to the top chassis and the whole assembly must be replaced.
But if you've ever had to remove 80 or so screws to replace a standard Macbook keyboard, it's not much of a loss.

See for yourselves how easy the Macbook Neo is to take apart. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Apple's MacBook Neo makes repairs easier and cheaper than other MacBooks Neo is the first MacBook in a long time with an easily replaceable keyboard.

Replacements for pretty much any component in the Neo are simpler and involve fewer steps and tools than in the M5 MacBook Air.

MacBook Neo Teardown: The Most Repairable Mac Yet? YouTube video by TECH RE-NU

A Macbook NEO teardown!
As someone who's repaired ๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜บ Macbook Pro & Air laptops, the new 'low end' Macbook Neo looks like a joy to work on!
Aside from needing Applecentric screwdrivers, everything is easy to get at & replace, especially the battery!
The NEO uses an iphone A18 chip instead of an M5.

Parents not teaching virtue at home cause the same intergenerational damage as fetal alcohol syndrome.
My father taught me to pity bullies for their ignorance but also some boot camp tricks.
Once he told the father of a bully I dispatched "If you want you son to be a bully, teach him how to fight!"

Certainly not folks who'll pay more for fuel for their vehicles and homes! ๐Ÿ’
And since it won't cost a penny more (beyond inflation) for American producers to pump and refine fossil fuels, they'll make windfall profits off everyone! ๐Ÿ™„

I use them to filter my RC plane's electronics and motors from the video transmitter to clean up EM noise but in line with a fan motor should reduce sound without bothering with an active cancelation circuit like in sound canceling headphones.
You ๐˜ค๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ญ๐˜ฅ gut sound cancelling headphones to do the job.

You forgot they knew it but just didn't give a damn.
You also forgot that since it won't cost a penny more (beyond inflation) to produce and refine American fossil fuels, those companies will make windfall profits from higher oil and gas prices.
Like tariffs, the average American will foot the bill!

'We' is the operative word.
Just like tariffs, average Americans will foot the bill for higher oil prices.
And since it won't cost a penny more to refine American produced oil, those companies will make windfall profits!
You'd almost think they wanted it this way.

You could cut the fan noise at least some by putting an LC (inductor/capacitor) filter in parallel with the fan power lines.
