I totally get that.
I mean on the one hand it makes cold winter nights seem a little more cheerful once the holidays have passed. On the other I superstitiously believe winter lasts longer when people leave their Xmas lights on 😉

Took advantage of the almost 70° weather today and finally took down the outdoor Christmas lights.
(Don’t worry - they’ve been off since early January. We’re not THOSE kinda people).
