I still don't understand what the play is there. I guess it fools *someone* but given that every release costs you a hundred bucks and you need to earn at least a thousand to recoup that fee, it's wild that there are so many of them.

like the thing I get watching friends who are into Hunt is this bizarre alternate look at a genre where the game is... the game? where the tension and social play comes from the things contained within a match and not the wholly external act of collecting Stuff.
