A lot of people have feelings about the MacBook Neo. Here’s what it actually feels like to use one.

My absolute favorite piece of wisdom from @myke.social from our conversation: “I can’t feel that something’s going to feel right unless I can actually feel it.”

I launched a new thing. It’s a series of conversations about how the most creative people turn ideas into reality. Kicking it off with an interview with Nate Baranowski-one of the most talented artists I know.
The podcast that loves its listeners so much it even gives you a year-in-review on Christmas Eve.
I talked with Flighty founder, Ryan Jones, last week about how Flighty became the most popular iPhone travel app seemingly overnight. Of course, if you travel at all, you already know it is essential. Here's how it became an overnight success 12 years in the making:

More than 15 years after I sold it, and several years of trying to track it down, I got to boot up the very first Mac I ever owned—a G4 PoweBook Titanium. It’s a wild story but it still runs FCP like a champ :)
I have no idea but thanks for mentioning it. I’ll check it out!

This is not great for Apple. People who were going to buy one anyway but might have waited for the 17, are pulling forward those purchases, which will likely mean suppressed demand for the next generation. If prices do go up it’ll be a double whammy.
I’ve had 5 different people reach out today asking which iPhone to buy because they were getting one today before tariffs kick in, assuming Apple will have to raise prices soon.
This score bug is just so bad.

I just keep thinking that Netflix was at its best from like 2015 through 2017, which also happens to be the last time you could subscribe (not including ads) for less than $10

Apple Intelligence with another totally inaccurate notification summary (though it was very flattering, at least)
Apple notification summaries with another example of why this is such a terrible terrible idea. Come on Apple.
That’s plenty.
