The Beasts of Burden Omnibus with cover art by series co-creator Jill Thompson. The cover shows five dogs and two cats reacting to a skeleton laying in a bloody ritual circle in a front yard. The series is about household pets and strays that defend their neighborhood from an occult plague that sees ghosts, witches and monsters threatening their hometown of Burden Hill.
The BEASTS OF BURDEN OMNIBUS was published last Feb and is still available to be adopted by comics readers, pet owners and horror fans. "Dogs and cats defend their neighborhood from the occult" might sound like a silly kid's comic. It's not. Winner of 8 EisnerAwards. Ck it out.

Hi Everyone, big news! I've started a newsletter! I really enjoy reading the author newsletters I receive. I love hearing what my favourite creators are up to, what they're reading, watching or playing. It's like a blog post (remember those?) delivered to my inbox.
My newsletter will go out once a month (maybe less depending on work). It will contain a personal comic, updates about the projects I'm currently working on and thoughts about what media I've enjoyed in the past month.
For years (decades, actually. I started posting my first webcomic online in 1999) I've enjoyed s haring my art and writing online with readers, but social media's algorithm has made sharing a lot less fun.

I have the Warlord omnibus in hand and it is one the most beautiful omnibuses I have seen! The colors pop really well on the "newsprint" paper (they need to look at real newsprint paper to see that this much better). The book is also shockingly light!
