I wanted to share a few of my favorite shots from the zine.

It means a lot that people are connecting with this project. Thank you to everyone who’s already picked up a copy.

If you haven’t yet, Spring on Film is still available now.

50 images, all captured on expired slide film. Link in Bio

Shooting this zine was a bit of a gamble, all expired slide film, every roll unpredictable. Some images were washed out, some were magic.

That’s kind of what I love about it. You never really know what you're going to get.

Spring on Film is available now — 50 of my favorite frames from the season.

I just dropped my new digital photo zine.

50 images shot this spring on expired slide film.

It’s called Spring on Film, and it’s available now for $10 CAD

If you’ve ever liked my work, this is the best way to support it 💐📷

I've been working on sequencing for an upcoming digital project that I’ve been working on for a while. I love printing these 4x6s, it helps visualize things a lot better.

Spring is one of my favourite times of the year. With the flowers blooming and the colours changing, it’s a perfect time to get out and shoot. This past spring I shot a lot and I want to share some of my favourite images. #filmphotography

There’s nothing like viewing slides on a light table. This is from my most recent batch of 6x9 slides. #filmphotography

From this roll of Fuji Industrial 400 from 2002. Lots of grain, lots of colour but definitely a unique look #filmphotography #expiredfilm

Some frames from @ilfordphoto.com Kentmere Pan 200 in Medium Format on the Fuji GW 690. The larger negative gives it even more texture and with the increased sharpness, the images just shine. I have another roll of this in medium format that I’ll be shooting some portraits on soon #filmphotography

I shot some rolls of the new @ilfordphoto.com Kentmere Pan 200 in 35mm. At 200 ISO it’s in a sweet spot for shooting on sunny days with not too much grain. I took it out in the streets of Toronto and tested it in some dynamic scenes. It’s definitely one that I’ll shoot again #filmphotography

I’ve managed to watch #Sinners in 70mm IMAX, 3 times now and it’s been a visual experience every time. I did a deep dive into how it was shot and the whole experience of shooting this on film. From the cameras to the look of the whole movie, a lot went into making this happen.

@ilfordphoto.com Hp5 has been one of my favourite film stocks to shoot over the years and it’s been a longtime favourite of mine especially for street photography. It’s great for beginners and pros and comes in basically all formats. #filmphotography

I use the Unicolor E6 kit. I know some other folks use the Bellini Kit. Only one I wouldn’t recommend is the Cinestill one just because it only does like 4 rolls per batch.

I’ve always wanted to shoot a roll of Fujifilm Sensia 100 but I could never get it for a good price. When this popped up on Facebook Marketplace yesterday I had to pull the trigger. 10 rolls for $100. Fridge stored and expired in 2005. It’s about be a fun spring for me #filmphotography

Out to see #sinners in 70mm IMAX today. Luckily Toronto has one of the 10 theatres worldwide that has sinners in 70mm IMAX.
