When I was a kid, I watched the Belgian show Samson & Gert. There's a barber in it called Alberto who, while not explicitly stated, we all understood to be gay (like his performer Koen Crucke). We didn't need any explanation. Definitely no therapy needed. We all loved him. Fan favorite character.

When in doubt, I look at the Japanese spelling, since it's phonetic. That's how I learned Sabin is not pronounced SAY-bin or SA-bin, but rather "Mash".

I wasn't a big fan of the original ending, but I also felt that people overreacted to it. I think the extended cut was really well done.

It's mainly the ending that received backlash. The overall journey is very good.

I think sometimes it's even funnier if an impression is really off, like Michael Showalter as Reagan in Wet Hot American Summer. He looked nothing like Reagan. Made it a lot better.
