When right-wing tossers drone on about "benefits scroungers" and suggest they're simply too lazy to work, here's the real explanation: there are a lot of folk out there whose health has been f*cked as a result of Tory policies.

Fascinating that Farage doesn't think anyone he reckons is un-British to be able to vote, but is happy to accept massive donations from folk who don't even live here. π€¨

I really donβt think Iβm losing anything by refusing to accept your so-called logic.
No, I don't. And you can waste your time all day trying to get me to agree, but I won't. You're entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to mine.
Oh for goodness sake. I perfectly understand the point you're trying to make - we see more replays of corners these days, so we see more examples of holding etc that we didn't see before. But I think you're wrong.
No, I just disagree with you.
Iβm not talking about the goals being scored from corners. Iβm talking about the defending, where Declan Rice (for example), repeatedly wrapping both his arms round an opponent to stop him moving is something that has become more blatant, and which for me should be penalised.
The Hearts Song is definitely preferable to Joy Division and The Carpenters, I'll give you that.
A season ticket holder for about 30 years, and a regular attendee for years before that, so I've seen plenty football. Of course there's been lots of pushing, shoving, holding and blocking over the years, but it's now reached a blatant and ridiculous level.

No, play fuck all so that the fans can hear themselves sing!
Seems like itβs now okay for defenders to bear hug opponents at corners. When did that happen? π€¨
Just watched highlights of Arsenal v Chelsea. Donβt much care for either of them tbh. But seems like itβs now okay for defenders to grab opponents in a damn bear hug at corners. π€¨
The joint was rocking at full time today, but they insisted on blasting out Joy Division and The Carpenters. Can that till the players have taken a bow, and let the fans sing!
And in the years before, when he was Chancellor.
A few years back I wrote a piece reflecting on Suzi for the blues music blog I had going at the time. You can find it here: bit.ly/37FPfKg πΈπ
Well done Livi, playing 12 minutes (count 'em - TWELVE) with 10 men and securing a draw! β½π #spfl
I've always had a soft spot for the Hibbies! π β½ #spfl
β.. We could spend the whole day reacting to every buffoonish spectacle coming out of the White House, but that's exactly what they want: for us to lose focus β¦
Don't be distracted by the noise; watch what they are doing to your rights while you stare at the screen.β
But hey, theyβre on the side of ordinary people. Aye, right. π€¨

When football was temporarily suspended during Covid someone made the excellent point that it was the loss of match day removed a key moment from many peopleβs week. It was a loss of something people could anticipate, commune at, and discuss together. Philistines can mock all they want.
Yeah, I don't know what Clarke sees in him either. He was absolutely dreadful at the Euros. And the same applies to Porteous and Hendry.
Playing on the right in a pinch won't qualify Harry to play in a World Cup squad. I've never been convinced by Patterson, and don't know enough about Ramsay. There's Max Johnston at Derby, who at least has had a look-in, but I don't know if he's back from injury.
Hmm, I agree he's duff and shouldn't be there. But Clarke may unfortunately remain loyal unless an alternative RB back-up to Hickey stakes an unignorable claim.
Yes indeed. I don't apply the word c*nt to many people, but Radcliffe certainly fits the bill. π€¨
In just a few moments, I will vote against the so-called SAVE America Act and I am a strong no. That's because this bill would place unnecessary burdens on millions of women and eligible citizens to register to vote and make their voices heard. It is un-American & undermines our democracy.
Only dipped my toe into about a third of these so far, but have particularly enjoyed Flying Finish, with further nods towards Softjaw and Howling Hawk. π
For me it's more about policy and narrative than personnel. Most people wouldn't know Morgan McSweeney from Adam. The Mandelson story is dreadful, but getting out of this hole is going to involve getting useful things done in places that matter - and not pandering to the bigoted right.
