Forrest Sparks and Kendra Sullivan from @humanitiescuny.bsky.social have provided amazing leadership in the planning process, engaging Hunter College community members in organizing the support committees for the project, and soliciting students to be part of assembly.
I'm taking part today in the CUNY Climate Assembly Project on Waste at Hunter College. We're convening an assembly of students who will learn about, deliberate on, and determine solutions for waste management on the College's main campus. This is an exciting democratic exercise for CUNY
